I don’t mean to sound ignorant but I do not own a website or have products to giveaway. I currently promote some ptr sites to earn some extra money. I am hoping michaelbadger.com will be my income success on the internet. So, if possible, please point me in the right direction for this listbuiling/giveaway event. My main source
of promotion is traffic exchanges. So I do not have much to spend
for other advertising sources. I obviously have a lot to learn about
internet products and marketing!

Hi Michael, you’ve got my interest…but while I’m not a newbie, I’m new to doing something like this and would need help - maybe lots of it LOL. I’m not even sure if what I would like to offer is suitable for this - a pdf copy of the book The Root Of All Disease. I get offered hundreds of ‘useless to most people’ products as free give aways, but this is something I would be interested in as a free give away myself, and with so many people taking a more active interest in their health and wellbeing, I’m inclined to think that others would be too. If you want to try working with the Auto Pilot Cash Streams Giveaway as a contributor, it COULD be a great way to motivate yourself and light a fire under you to get set up by August 1st. You can buy some Private Label Rights products or Resell Rights products, and then get a simple optin page set up for your product.
One place I like to look for PLR products is the Warrior Forum - http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=15 (just do a search for PLR and see what you come up with)
I like it because you can usually find stuff there that is pretty unique. Sometimes they will even give you an optin page to use for the product.
Since this giveaway was just announced today, if you join soon you actually could get some decent signups from Traffic Exchanges and Safelists.
If it seems like too much of a leap to get yourself up and running by August 1st, you can always sign up but watch from the sidelines. That way you’ll get to know what these are all about and you’ll be more prepared to jump on the next one.
At the very least, you should sign up for the learning you can gain from it! And of course, you’ll get to download the free products.

Jennie - I would say go for it! Why not offer something that you think could be of huge benefit to people? The key would be in how you do your initial ad. Is there a way you can word it to make people curious and WANT to read your book?
Also, if you do the giveaway you’ll have a better understanding for what does and doesn’t work for it

Michael…..I use to be a Special Ed Teacher, as you know. I never even touched a computer until almost 3 years ago and have been doing primarily research (music) and learning my way around this machine. This is all greek to me what you are describing, but I told you early on you have my support, and I so deperately want to learn how to harness the power of the internet. I don’t undestand what building a list even means…..I have several lists of people with their email addresses that are part of a family member or music colleages address book - hundreds, actually, but that is not ethical to use that, is it?
I am totally in the dark here, but so ready to learn…….help me!?

Okay, I just signed up for the Giveaway, and then upon clicking through to pay for the one-time $27 upgrade, Firefox took me to a landing page in Mainland Chinese simplified characters, which is weird enough already perhaps but weirder (to me) still in that I did this from my computer at work in a government office location (I am a translation and editing consultant) in another country, not China, one which uses traditional characters, and I guess the government Intranet anti-hacking security software here at work is what prevented the PayPal site from opening in full, or something. I back-clicked in an attempt not to lose the $27 opportunity and avoid later paying the more expensive alternative, but then I got lost inside my personal skull software and forgot WTF I was doing . . . .
Maybe I should send a support ticket to Reed and Guido on this and beseech their help and understanding?
Also, another thing. Not being overly techie when it comes to uploading files to websites and whatnot, am I correct in assuming that I can use a File Transfer Protocol program to stick a .pdf file for the giveaway of my choice onto my opt-in page for this scenario? I have never participated in something like this B4, so I am a bit uncertain of the steps to take in setting my end of all this up so that there is smooth sailing via the Giveaway event on my way to becoming an online kazillionaire.

Nadine - don’t worry, we were all new at this at one time. These systems just take some getting used to.
If you signed up for autopilotcashstreams already here is what you should do:
1 - login to your account
2 - click on settings
3 - Scroll down. See where it says “your affiliate link?” At the end of that link is a number - I’m not sure what your number is but let’s pretend it is “85″
4 - Well, then your affiliate link for the Team Build would be http://michaelbadger.com/autopilot?r=85

Hi Rasik, That URL is the page that you will advertise. When people join via that page, they will be your referrals over at Auto Pilot Cash Streams.
Take a look at your page, and scroll down to the bottom. It will show you that the referring ID is yours. It says at the bottom: Referring ID: 779
